I recently got a heads up on a new book that I can’t wait to get my hands on that is coming out soon (set for a September 25th release on Amazon) called Good Calories, Bad Calories, by Gary Taubes. Looks like it’s going to challenge many current medical beliefs regarding the foods we eat. I’ve never been a big fan of the current cholesterol-heart disease paradigm. In fact, I think that lowering cholesterol excessively might even put us at risk for some types of cancer. Thanks to Gil for the great book suggestion.
